Skin Infections

Skin is an important part of any animal’s body. It protects from changing environmental conditions and external parasites. It also protects from lose of water, regulates body temperature and is responsible for hair coat. As Dr. Murud says “Healthy skin is a reflection of the overall wellness” So, taking care of your pet’s skin is of prime importance and shall be a part of routine.

Of the many reasons for skin infection on animals few are mentioned below

• Unhygienic living conditions
• Non-cleaning
• Nutritionally imbalanced diet
• Ticks/ fleas bites

Skin infections cause redness and or itching or hair loos to the pet. This makes your pet very unhappy and so you must take your pet to the Vet immediately if you see any signs of infection on your pet’s skin.
